Description
Product information "Espruino Pico"
The Espruino Pico is a tiny USB stick that runs JavaScript code (it doesn't need to be connected to a computer). You can program it with nothing more than a serial terminal program, but there is also an IDE that runs in the Chrome web browser. It has an editor with syntax highlighting as well as a graphical programming language.
Once you've uploaded the code, you can inspect and change variables (including functions!) while your program is running.

Espruino – JavaScript on the microcontroller
Espruino is a project by British developer Gordon Williams that started on Kickstarter in 2013 with an unusual idea: a microcontroller that executes JavaScript directly, with an interpreter running on the chip itself.
The practical consequence is a different way of working. Instead of writing code, compiling it and flashing it to the board, you connect to the board and type commands into a console – they execute immediately. A sensor can be read out, an output switched, a function tested, all without a build cycle. This makes debugging noticeably faster, especially when the exact behaviour of a component is still unclear.
The boards are based on ARM Cortex-M controllers, the firmware is open source, and there are ready-made libraries for common sensors and displays.
At BerryBase you will find Espruino boards for web developers, rapid prototyping and IoT projects.
