With the complete micro:bit go set, users can give free rein to their creativity. The set includes all the necessary parts for getting started with the micro:bit as well as suggestions for realising creative ideas. The micro:bit go comes with a micro:bit, a USB cable, a battery holder and two AAA batteries as well as a quick start guide with 4 project examples.

- With integrated magnetometer (compass) to detect orientation and movement in degrees (°) and to detect certain metals and magnets
- Bluetooth® smart technology: The micro:bit can be connected to other micro:bits as well as mobile phones, tablets, cameras and other devices
- 5 rings (I/O ports), including power supply (PWR), ground (GRD) & 3 I/O pins. The micro:bit can read values from sensors and control motors or robots, among other things
- The 20-pin card edge connector allows other devices such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Galileo and Kano to be connected to the micro:bit
- Micro-USB controller: is controlled by a separate processor and represents the micro:bit as a memory stick for a computer
