The multi-functional driver board is used as a sub-controller of the robot and has an integrated ESP32 module, which can be controlled via serial interface, HTTP request, ESP-NOW and other communication protocols.
It provides a web application for some basic control functions of the robot.
The ESP32 can perform low-frequency calculations for the robot, such as high-frequency PID controller for wheel speed control, high-frequency inverse kinematics calculations for robot arm joints, position interpolation calculations, pan-tilt angle control and OLED screen control. The ESP32 is also responsible for reading various sensors, such as IMU (9-axis position sensor) and INA219 (battery voltage detection), and can achieve camera stabilisation independently, saving computing and IO resources for the host controller.

Audio driver board
The audio driver board is designed for the robot's host controller and has an onboard USB interface suitable for Raspberry Pi 5 and other motherboards and is compatible with multiple systems. It uses the SSS1629A5 audio control chip and provides reliable audio input and output functions, supports USB interface communication, is driverless, plug-and-play. The onboard APA2068 audio amplifier chip provides high-quality audio amplification to ensure clear and stable audio signal output.
