temi is a telepresence robot that removes a limitation every video conference has: a screen stays wherever it stands.
The robot drives autonomously through rooms. It builds a map of its surroundings, avoids obstacles, follows a person and travels to defined points on command. Whoever joins by video controls it from anywhere – and can therefore move around the room instead of being confined to a fixed viewpoint.
