The Grove Beginner Kit for Arduino consists of an Arduino-UNO-compatible board (Seeeduino Lotus, based on the Microchip ATmega328P) and ten pre-installed Grove Arduino modules on a single board. All modules are pre-assembled and wired, eliminating the need for external breadboards or jumper cables.
The components included in the kit comprise input and output modules as well as various sensors. The kit provides an introduction to the basics of open source hardware, sensor control and Arduino programming. Twelve project instructions and a 74-page PDF wiki are available for learning purposes. If required, the modules can also be removed individually and connected via Grove cables.
The kit is suitable for getting started with Arduino programming and a practical understanding of electronic systems. Applications include sensor connection, signal acquisition, data display, control and evaluation of physical parameters such as temperature, air pressure, acceleration, brightness or sound. The system is suitable for the education sector (STEAM), but also for individual prototyping projects. Thanks to pre-configured connections, no soldering work is required.
