The Pololu Pushbutton Power Switches are ingenious power control alternatives to bulky mechanical switches. The main function is a pushbutton-based, latching power control, where one push of the button switches the power supply on and another push switches it off. Additional control inputs enable extended applications such as automatic switch-off by the device to be supplied. This MP version operates from 4.5 V to 40 V and can supply continuous currents of up to approx. 8 A.
