These two female headers are, well, lonely on their own. But combine them with one of our Feather Boards and you're ready to fly! These headers are particularly cute and tiny. With a housing height of just 5.0 mm, they are the best way to minimise the space required for your Feather project while still retaining the flexible configuration. "Normal" female headers have a housing height of 8.5 mm, so you save a whole 3.5 mm (that adds up!). For ultimate slimness, you can combine these female headers with equally short male headers. You can use the male bushing strips that come with your Feathers, but you may need to shorten the male bushing strips of your Featherwings by a few mm, so be aware of this! What are they for? They are soldered to both sides of the Feather board. Now you can plug in FeatherWings to extend your portable project. Unlike our Feather Stacking Headers, they are not designed for 'stacking', but they are much more compact. Note: A 12-pin and a 16-pin header are included, a Feather is not included.

Short pin header kit for feather, 12-pin and 16-pin female headers
These two female headers are, well, lonely on their own. But combine them with one of our Feather Boards and you're ready to fly! These headers are particularly cute and tiny. With a housing height of just 5.0 mm, they are the best way to minimise the space required for your Feather project while still retaining the flexible configuration. "Normal" female headers have a housing height of 8.5 mm, so you save a whole 3.5 mm (that adds up!). For ultimate slimness, you can combine these female headers with equally short male headers. You can use the male bushing strips that come with your Feathers, but you may need to shorten the male bushing strips of your Featherwings by a few mm, so be aware of this! What are they for? They are soldered to both sides of the Feather board. Now you can plug in FeatherWings to extend your portable project. Unlike our Feather Stacking Headers, they are not designed for 'stacking', but they are much more compact. Note: A 12-pin and a 16-pin header are included, a Feather is not included.
