M5Stack Core and Base: High-quality devices for your projects
The modular development kit M5Stack is perfectly suited to realise individual IoT projects. The heart of the system is the so-called core, a compact device that has an integrated ESP32 microcontroller, a motherboard and a TFT screen. The base plate of the core contains a battery and various interfaces. The device is equipped with an RTC module, making it the ideal tool for precise time measurements. Furthermore, the AXP192 power management chip helps to ensure that the 390 mAh battery works with maximum efficiency and achieves long runtimes through intelligent power supply control.
But other models have also proven themselves as practical helpers in the IoT sector due to their flexible usability, high robustness and modern features. The M5Stack Tough ESP32, for example, is the optimal variant if you need an industrial-grade microcontroller for your purposes that impresses with a high degree of stability. The powerful device is waterproof and dustproof and uses a dual-core low-power Xtensa® 32-bit LX6 microprocessor that clocks at up to 240 MHz. Thanks to these requirements, the core can also be used for more complex industrial applications.
In contrast, the M5Stack Fire scores with particularly good features and flexible usability. Among other things, the Core model is equipped with a 16 MB flash memory, a 600 mAh battery and a magnetic charging station; the device also has a microphone, a position sensor and 10 programmable RGB LED strips. This makes the M5Stack Fire suitable for the production of various prototypes, for industrial controls and for automated (home) networks, among other things.
M5Stack Base: Powerful expansion modules for your M5Stack Core
