M5Stick: Compact mini board for creative IoT prototyping
M5Stick a versatile development board. With its eponymous development kit, M5Stack has created the ideal system for ambitious IoT tinkerers. In addition to the Core and Atom series models, the M5Stick C PLUS variant enjoys great popularity. And that is not particularly surprising, because the portable open-source development board scores with its versatile applicability, is first-class equipped, user-friendly and at the same time inexpensive.
M5Stick C PLUS: What is it? - Top equipment and flexible application
To be prepared for the most diverse projects in the field of IoT prototyping, a development board must offer a decent amount of computing power. Consequently, the M5Stick C PLUS uses the ESP32 PICO D4, a powerful dual core chip with 4 MB flash memory. In addition, the chip is equipped with a Bluetooth 4.0 and a WiFi interface, which fulfils the most important requirements for smooth wireless communication. The handy device also has all kinds of useful features, such as an infrared transmitter, an integrated RTC module, a microphone, and an LED.
The Mini-M5Stack can be operated via a 1.14-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 135 x 240 inches. This makes the display much larger than its predecessor. In addition, there is a convincing battery performance, which has the advantage that mobile applications are also possible without any problems. For stationary use, you can also mount the board on a wall.

So that you can upgrade your M5Stick board according to your individual ideas and give free rein to your creativity, you can choose from a variety of compatible accessory modules in our online shop. To integrate a photo recording and image transfer function into your system, you can use the ESP32-based M5Stack Timer Camera X, for example. The generated data can be easily processed with the UIFlow platform developed by M5Stack. If you prefer a fisheye camera, we advise you to use the M5Stack Timer Camera F.
M5Stack's portfolio also includes several HATs and units that you can use in combination with the M5Stick, including a speaker with integrated PAM8303 amplifier, a time-of-flight HAT for object distance detection, a human body induction sensor, a digital ambient light sensor, and a compact steering gear drive board.
