The BerryBase pogo pin plug / socket offers a magnetic connection for stable and flexible electronic connections. The robust Gold 3u coating enables a current transfer of up to 2 A at 36 V DC. The 3-pin design with eyelets and no cable is ideal for electronics and prototyping applications.
The magnetic connection ensures easy handling and prevents damage caused by accidental pulling. This minimises the risk of devices being damaged by tripping, as the connection simply releases instead of the connected device being pulled to the ground.
Compared to a USB-C connection, this plug/socket type has less wear and tear as spring-loaded contacts are used, which reduce mechanical stress and offer a longer service life. Spring-loaded contacts ensure a reliable electrical connection even under vibration. Often used for temporary connections and modular projects.
